In this session we will discuss the adaptation and implementation of Team Based Learning (TBL) for online delivery in an undergraduate clinical psychology module. TBL is an evidence-based, collaborative learning approach which uses a specific and intensive form of small group-based learning. It places emphasis on student preparation out of class and application of knowledge in class. Here, TBL was used to teach clinical psychology knowledge application and promote reflective thinking. This session will start with a brief introduction to TBL before discussing how we adapted TBL for online delivery. Finally, we will evaluate our adaption of TBL and finish with a discussion of the challenges we encountered and future directions.
