This video will look at best practice in the design and delivery of intensive short courses. It will draw on research to present advice on pedagogy, curriculum and assessment applicable to a wide range of short course formats. It will then conclude by exploring the summer school context in more detail, looking at what makes summer teaching different from year-round, and presenting practical tips for anyone interested in creating such courses.
