New IP Code of Practice - Guy's campus launch event

To celebrate the launch of the new IP Code of Practice, we hosted an event for King's staff and students at Guy's campus. We heard opening remarks from Senior Vice President (Operations), Steve Large, and Vice President (Research and Innovation), Professor Bashir M. Al-Hashimi. There were presentations on the revision to the code from Director of Innovation@King's, Dr Mike Shaw, as well as the new active shareholding model by Head of School (BMEIS), Professor Sebastien Ourselin. Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute, Julie Devonshire, introduced King's accelerators. The event included a panel discussion led by Executive Director of King's Culture, Beatrice Pembroke, including Dr Michael Ebner (Founder of Hypervision Surgical) and Dr Elisa Petris (Lead Partner at Syncona Investment Management Ltd.).
