Professor Shitij Kapur welcomed Dr David Kellermann, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney, where he is a course co-ordinator and lecturer for their largest foundational first- and second-year engineering subjects, teaching over 1,000 students each year.
David is a digital learning pioneer and since before the pandemic has worked on a digital education system that enables accessible, engaged and personal learning experiences, whether a student is on campus or remote. We were delighted to welcome David to King’s, where he spoke on deepening student engagement in virtual and hybrid environments, creating collaborative learning communities and gaining insights to improve learning outcomes.
