Understanding the assessment

Emma Wynne Bannister is a PhD student in the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine. Emma's research aims to critically examine the human right to live in the community for people with mental health problems. It explores the ethical basis for this right and its practical implications. The purpose is to make a philosophical argument for a human moral right to 'the capability to live in the community'.
